Simonsberg MTB Classic - 15 April 2012
We love this mountain which always keeps an eye out on us wherever we go around Stellenbosch, so to do a race around it was a huge pleasure! A win for Ariane, a third for me and more wine in the cupboard ;)

So the big day finaly arrived! We stay focused and supported each other and in the process managed to achieve our biggest goal of the year!

Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour - 11 March 2012
As always a fantastic weekend and even more so being able to spend the weekend in Cape Town. Ariane enjoyed race day with 35000 others with "Give me a Chance" and Erik with "Songo.info".

Columbia Grape Escape & MTB Challenge - 1-4 March 2012
A race in our back yard is always great! And even better that the Grape Escape comes at the perfect time before the Cape Epic for some mixed racing preperation.
Ariane ended the weekend off for Kleinhansmuesli on a high note with a big win at the Boschendal MTB Challenge! Always a favourite to win! Read more in news...

Sabie MTN XCM#3 (UCI World Cup) - 25 February 2012
What a pleasure to have a UCI Marathon World Cup in South Africa! It was great to see that quite a few top international riders made the trip.
After the third round in the SA Marathon series, Ariane is now in the driving seat, and on top of that also claimed a Marathon World Series win!! Read more in news...

Ride the Rock, Cederberg - 10-12 February 2012
A big thanks to Stillwater Sports for inviting us to this great event! What a pleasure it was and we are already looking forward to the 2013 edition!

Barberton MTN XCM#1 - 28 January 2012
Ariane could not have started the SA Marathon series in any better fashion with a convincing victory in Barberton!
Erik also did not dissapoint with a very solid ride to finish 11th even though it could so easily have been his best national marathon yet. Read more in news...

Attakwas - 14 January 2012
Ariane kicked off 2012 in the same fashion as 2011 with a a win in one of the toughest marathon races in South Africa through the Attakwas Kloof!
After a relaxing break from racing it was great to have the whole team together again for a fun weekend.
Congrats also to team mates Philip with his 3rd in Attakwas and Louis and eddie for dominating the Terra Firma! Read more in news...

Contego Rock Pedal Classic - 17 December 2011
For Ariane yet another victory for 2011 in the 100km race around Cradock Peak in the Outeniqua mountains! She had a close battle with George local, Ischen Stopforth. I had to settle for 5th place not being able to contain the motivated locals.

Coronation Double Century - 26 November 2011
It was that time of the year again for the toughest Team Time Trial in world (surely it must be...)! This year however I did not race for a top position, but joined a group of cycling crazy Jobergers who rode for the benefit of the MAD Foundation
Our team split in two up the first big climb and the 'snakes' finished the 202km in 7h30 and the 'tubbies' in 9h25!! Read more in news...

So our last race of the year was finally apon us, and what a race that is!

League, Botrivier, Buffet Olives - 29+30 October 2011
A busy weekend for us with plenty of racing around the Cape. I helped team mate, Louis Bresler, to dominate the roadies to claim the overall series title in the Aca Joe road league.

Cape Pioneer Trek - 17-22 October 2011
Ariane and I met at this race one year ago, alot happened since then... So this race is special for us! Not only for that reason, but also because I won the first edition, she won the second and together we managed to win the third!
